Name change effect the credit history ?
Hi
I did a change in my Last name, and I called my Credit card company (bank of america card with VISA logo) to change it and they sent me the new credit card and I received my statement with the new name and same account number .
My question is that effect my history ?
Do I need to change my name in (equafax, Union EXPRESS and ….) or it’ll be changed automatically , if yes how can I contact them ?

it is very likely that the credit agencies already know. among other things, your SSN did not change and they use that to associate records to you.
they also monitor legal proceedings in all states, including marriages, divorces, and legal name changes.
