How should I cancel my bank of america accounts?
i want to cancel all my bank of america accounts, my checking, saving, and my credit card, first of all, should i go directly to the bank or call to do it over the phone? then,in what order should i cancel them? or shold i do them all at once so that they dont get a hint hat im going to cancel everything? also, i owe about $700 on credit card… can i just go to the bak with the cash, pay it off and cancel all at the sametime? help please im so confused… on last thing…. whats the best way to check my credit report?
it´s awesome that u wanna close ur accounts with them, befoere they take all ur money in fees!! first of all make sure that u do not have any kind of scheduled payments, cause an electronic transaction coming to an already closed account could reopen it.
you can close them by phone but it´s gonna take u forever cause u will be transfered to at least 2 departments and cause u have a negative balance u won´t be able to close that account.
deposit the money and then call them to close all your accounts. Be prepared to stay for a while at the phone
