What other reason besides bad credit will make them not approve me?
I have had a secure credit card with bank of america for almost a year, and I always pay on time every month and my credit is at 790. I’m going on a vacation in January and I want just a little extra security money-wise, so I went to apply for a second credit card. I applyed at creditcards.com and they never emailed for or sent me any info after that, then I applyed at Bank of America again for a different credit card, and right away they sayed they could not approve me at this time. I went on Myfreecreditreport.com account and my credit is still looking good. I had applyed for a Victoria Secret Angel card the other day and I was approved right away. SO what other reasons might they not be approving me for?

Capital one, Bank of America, and Discover are in serious trouble right now. Expect one of those companies to be non existent in about 4 months.
Try getting a visa from Target, Kmart, Jcpenny. They are MUCH easier to get, although their limits are not more than 4,000.
Keep checking your report. Applying for a card on a website is never a really good idea. The reason you haven’t hear back might be that if you get turned down, they have to notify you by mail. This usually shows the reason for the turndown.
