Why did they play the movie “Sicko” by Michael Moore in theaters in Italy?
They are scaring Italians off about the US health care system, and they are doing very well.
I heard they played that movie even in Germany and France.
It looks like Europeans are going to hate Americans more and more.
As a hint about what an European feels when he comes to America, every time I call my friends in Italy and in the UK by phone, they call me very bad names! I even receive threatening emails from strangers. They say I am am not normal if I decided to go to study in an American college.
Indeed, I just came to America because I am taking advantage of the weak dollar, so that when I transfer 3,000 dollars to pay for tuition I pay only 1,900 euros from my Italian bank account.

You can indeed get a very good education here and that is all I would worry about…. make that your primary goal …. if anything you are experiencing something that other people in your country will only hear about or get a chance to watch in theatres…. America is undergoing tons of changes at the current moment and in a lot of ways it is not helpful to the average American citizen. They have layed the groundwork for a much different regime. Give it at least 50 years and it will be a completely different country.
