How do I pay on my Bank of America Credit card after it has gone to collections?
I owe about 5k on my bank of america credit card, but I can no longer view it on the website, it has gone to collections, so how do I pay it now? Thanks
You will have to negotiate a settlement/payment arrangement with the collection agency. They will insist on a lump sum payment or large installment payments over a short period. Forget about offering small payments like those minimum payments you didn’t make.
Be sure to get any settlement agreement in writing before you pay a cent and don’t give collectors direct access to your bank account.
